PROFILE OF SWAMY VIVEKANANDA STUDY CIRCLE (REGED)
Swamy Vivekananda study circle was formed in the year 1964 at Heavy Vehicles Factory Estate, Avadi, Chennai with few dedicated members. In the year 1985 it was shifted to Ordnance Factory Estate Eddumailaram, Medak district, Andhra Pradesh and registered under society act in 1990. AP State endowment department allotted seven acres of land at “Tulja bagh” Sadashivpet, on lease in the year 2000 for the development of social and welfare activities in the area.
From 1985 onwards we conducted “National Youth Day” on Jan.12, and other programs involving the schools mentioned below:
1. High Schools of Zilla parishad,
2. Schools of Eddumailaram, Rudraram, Cheriayala, Bhanur, Kandi, Sangareddy, Ramachandrapuram, Sadashivpet etc.
3. Kendriya Vidyalaya schools of Eddumailaram, Secunderabad etc,.
4. Private Schools of “Parsi High Schools” of Secunderabad, Vidya Bharat School, Gandhi Centenary School of Sangareddy etc.
Swamy Vivekananda – Life and message:
Message exhibitions were conducted at Mahabub College, Parsi High School, Uppal Kendriya Vidyalaya, Swamy Vivekananda Centenary High School Malakpet, and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan of Hyderabad.
v Series of lectures on Indian Cultural heritage by Dr.K.Subrahmanyam were conducted at Sadashivpet Zilla Parishad Schools.
v We started Shri Tuljasingh Swamy Vivekananda Vidyalaya in the year 2001.
v We have sponsored Centre for Rural Development and Environmental Studies (CRDES) in the year 2002.
v One day workshops on environmental awareness, Water Elixir of life were conducted at Uppal Kendriya Vidyalaya, Zilla Parishad Schools of Sadashivpet, Shri Arabindo international school of Hyderabad for teachers and students by Shri S.P.Turaga.
v We also conducted programs for students and teachers with the active support of “Nachiketa Tapovan, Kivalya yoga center, Vivekananda Kendra of Hyderabad.
ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Our school started functioning with the academic year 2001. This school functions on the basic humanitarian principles taught and visualized by Swamy Vivekananda. The medium of instruction is English because the modern education finds its place in this language and we do not wish our students be deprived of the progress universally accepted through English medium. Due to financial problems the school is closed
